Nice bike but I'd say offer less . My brother just bought an 06 EFI 0 miles for fifteen and change OTD with stock nightrain drag bars V&H pipes and a dynojet power commander .
I appreciate all the replies.....
Maybe I should just take a deep breath and look around a little before making an 'impulse buy', as it sounds like there are still some good deals out there..
I'll probably go down there Friday and check out their Softails and see how low they will go on pricing.
They also have a low mileage mint condition '05 EFI Deuce with the Vance & Hines exhaust. I believe they were asking $15,000, but many times you can do a little wheeling and dealing if you have cash in hand.
Can't hurt to see if he'll take less. A guy making a sale will always move off the first price he quotes. As for the bike- I think it looks great. He has abvioulsy added a bunch of chrome especialy at the back. It doesn't hurt that the guy was a mechanic. Most take care of their toys...Good luck
I got an e-mail about my bike and I'm sorry if I implied the bike was for sale. I guess I wasn't very clear, but that doesn't surprise me. A week or so earlier, I was trying to decide which of my bikes to sell (decided on the ultra, and please, no e-mail, I already have a deposit). The 11K I mentioned was what I considered fair value for my bike, in my neck of the woods. I was also trying to express that I thought the bike he was looking at was a little high, when comparing the miles and extras.
Sorry for the confusion, it has a lot to do with the state in which I live... state of confusion
