Default Potential Tank Slapper???

Got an "04" Heritage. Everthing straight out of the box, so far. About 30-42 mph get a little handlebar vibration with hands off the bars. Its enough to straighten the hairs in all your private parts, not willing to let it go and see how bad it can get. Re-balanced front tire, still there. Could wheel be out of alignment, or would this be farther up the tubes normally. Greased the neck and it got worse.

Also check your steering head bearings for wear/adjustment. I had the same thing and adjusting my steering head bearings and it went away.

Yep, sounds like steering head bearing adjustment or replacement.

And don't forget to check the ones on the rear wheel too! They can contribute to a front end wobble also..

That's true. Had this problem with a Sportster years ago and it was the rear tire pressure.
