I took mine off. the bottom of my pants have caught it 3 times and snatched it into first gear. Good thing I had both hands on the handle bars each time. Thank God there were no good looking girls around it sure kills your coolness.

I actually like using the heel shifter. And although I've only used it for about 3 weeks, it's already starting to become habit. The one thing I do wrong occasionally is upshift when I mean to down shift - that don't work so good. I'll keep practicing...
