Lowering Heel Shifter?

I took mine off. the bottom of my pants have caught it 3 times and snatched it into first gear. Good thing I had both hands on the handle bars each time. Thank God there were no good looking girls around it sure kills your coolness.

I actually like using the heel shifter. And although I've only used it for about 3 weeks, it's already starting to become habit. The one thing I do wrong occasionally is upshift when I mean to down shift - that don't work so good. I'll keep practicing...

Hey Milty, any chance you can post a photo of the forward control shift lever on your bike? I've been considering doing the same thing but read in the catalogue or someplace they won't work with floorboards. That just didn't make snese to me but I haven't tried it yet. Thanks
