Question Softail Deluxe Dash Console
Hi- My 09 softail deluxe is black and has a pretty ugly console around the speedo and ignition. I can't install a low profile console because I have the new speedo/tach combination. Any reccomendations for covering up/ replacing the black part of the console?
Thanks for any suggestions- Carol

You can swap out the console with something different.

I just bought an machined turned insert for mine.Not installed yet so I cant show you a pic.

I've got a friend with a Road King. He has the tach/speedo combo and a low profile consol too.

I've got that speedo/tach too. It's exactly the same size as the OEM speedo was. I can't see any reason why it would stop you from changing out the console?

You could try too peel the black sticker off. I bet it's chrome under it.

It is chrome underneath. Had flamed console insert and removed it. Console is all chrome with bumps and a pita with glare. Bought a used Deluxe console with black insert from this site and am very happy with it.
