Default Engine Guard?

Engine Guard, Crash Bar, Highway Bar what ever term you use for it. I am considering putting one on my Deluxe and am curious as too which brands everyone has on their bikes. I am thinking of a Lindby Linbar. Any thoughts or concerns would be appreciated since out of all the years of riding I have never had one.

I don't have a Deluxe, but I have a highway bar on my FatBoy. It's the Harley classic...

I have the Lindby Multibar, I like it. While riding the back roads around Deal's Gap, I pulled over out of the rain to use the phone. Put my foot down, and over we went. My bike rested on the engine guard and didn't receive a single scratch. I'm sold...

I have the HD mustache on mine. It's ok i like having it on but don't really care for the looks, and I do like putting my left foot on it but not the right. It doesn't stretch me out any just a little different position.

I'm sure that helped. Haha

I put the chrome HD mustache bar on. Was going to put the Lindy on...but I had dollars (points from HD credit card) so I bought the HD bar. Like it a lot. Looks good on the Heritage and fits my leg length well.

Have em on both bikes. I went down in some loose gravel a couple of months ago and they saved my paint. Add some pegs and they allow you to stretch out the legs.

I like the Lindby or the BR Customs bars for looks but for taller riders they just dont allow for extended floor boards or brake pedals
