My 2 Cents... I agree that it's a mistake letting the Rocker C go... But with every bike, there are pros and cons... and like every bike several people will like them and that same amount of people will hate them... For me, if I had the money to spend on a Rocker C (with a heartland kit) I would have purchased it in a heartbeat. The price for a used Rocker C is still pretty high, indicating that there are still a lot of folks out there that want them.

I agree the space behind the seat looked bizarre from the factory. But I put a danny gray seat on mine with progressive shocks front and rear and it is now sweet! They ride like a dream. One up bike though...my wife does not ride so it works out great. My rocker c is going nowhere ever...without me. Ride safe.

Said before but it bears repeating.

Harley produces what sells. Think about it, Harley sells motorcycles that are far behind in technology. But they sell every one.

When they make something that doesn't sell well, they stop producing it.

I love my Rocker though. It's one of most stunning pieces of sculpture Harley has ever produced (I happen to be a professional artist), with an interesting combination of influences from the old hardtails, and from "pro street". It gets more attention and compliments than any other bike I've ever owned, except for one pro-steet that had a ten-pound nitrous bottle strapped to the side.
Are attention and compliments important? No, but they sure are fun!

Never had much interest in the high-production "cookie cutter" bikes, or cookie cutter "Harley crowd" conformist styling trends. The Rocker haters can stick to their boring bikes. LOL

I'm HAPPY that they discontinued the rocker....AFTER I bought mine. I love cruising around town and only seeing maybe 1 to 2 rockers the WHOLE riding season (none with a procharger .......I don't want to have a dyna or a bagger that are a dime a dozen. No offense to anyone who owns a dyna or bagger. I'll prolly end up buying another bike that is a bagger for longer trips

I had a Rocker C and it was the most uncomfortable bike I have ever ridden. I tried to convince myself it was comfortable, and even posted saying it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I was lying to myself.
So........I went with HDs other hated model, the Blackline. Surprisingly I have had more compliments on it than I did on the Rocker. HD owners may hate it but the general public sure loves to come up to me when I'm pulled over taking a pinch of snuff to tell me how much they like the looks of it. It kinda bums me out because I was trying to be so tough looking they would be scared to approach me. Imagine my disappointment when a mom brought her little boy over so he could ask about the bike. I quickly rebounded, hid my shame, and picked the youngster up and plopped him on the seat so his mom could take photos. The look on that childs face was priceless, and before I knew it he gave me a hug. It made me smile for the rest of the day.
