The Deuce was always one of my favorite Softails when it was in production. Thinking about today's HD lineup, I'd say it still is one of my favs. The Softail line has been a bit "soft" in recent years. HD needs to do something to give it some energy....
I liked mine a lot! Needed a lil bit of storage. That's the problem I ran into. I wanted the bagged tail kit.. No go on the deuce.
I also don't think it was meant for shorter guys.. I'm 5'8"... And the leg position was too forward that what ever bars, or angle of them, I couldn't take any pressuse off my azz...
Love the looks and style though!!
Here's my old bone stock!
My dealer had an 04 I believe with only 2200 miles on it. They wanted $12K and to tell you the truth I would have bought it if I could. A bike like that should be ridden!
I love the Deuce. It was almost my first Harley, but I ended up going with the Fatboy instead back in 2002. Both were on the showroom floor and when I went back to buy the Deuce, or so I thought, it was gone and I ended up with the '02 fatboy in Impact Blue instead. I love the bikes that are a bit different. Who wants the same model as everyone else??? You can customize anything you want to.
