P 1358 Code

P 1358 Code

I have a 2003 Heritage with a Stage II Big Bore kit (1550cc/ HD part# 29775-02A).

The kit has been on for several years. The bike runs great!

I will intermittently get a Check engine light, but it won't stay on long. It is obviously stored as a history code.

I bought an HD code reader and twice now, have cleared a "P 1358 H -Rear ignition coil intermittent secondary detected" per the HD code reader. Both times I never felt the bike run poorly.

Not quite sure what this code means. Is it the coil? Or does "secondary" mean the plug wire or the plug? Or could it be all three?

Anyone have experience with the code and the fix?

Used to get codes intermittently but the bike always ran fine. Got some electrical contact cleaner and took apart every plug I could find, sprayed it with the cleaner and reset the connections. No more codes.
