Hey,
Lost my ignition keys as I never used them and didn't see the point in having one. Heavy duty fork lock is all I ever needed. My buddy I sold the Heritage to does not feel the same. Anyone know what the cheapest option is? Can I just turn in the serial number at dealer to get a replacement key? Locksmith? I know my cheapest option is to find the stupid keys but since they haven't been used since 1993 when the bike left the dealer I think that is highly unlikely. Thanks.
I know that with my '09, I can use my VIN number to have Harley create a new key. I'm not sure if the '93 is the same, but give the dealer a call. They could tell you.
Pick-up a new Ignition switch from any of the mail order places, I got one for mine from JP, was like 30.00 with new keys, you can even get one with the round style key.
