Harley makes a shield to cover the three holes in the rear fender when relocating the license plate. Anyone now the numbers, or how to find it. Nobody at my dealer has a clue
Yeah, I am really not a fan of the Kuryakyn Tribal, and the pyramid covers are just adhesive backed. I saw a bike somewhere that used a Harley shield emblem that he purchased at the dealership. I just can't find the thread.
I had originally bought the Kuryakyn triangular hole cover and it didn't last long before falling off during a ride. I left the maltese cross hole cover for the fourth hole that came with the Kuryakyn kit, but I covered the other 3 holes using a bar and shield badge that I got at my local stealership. It worked great because it uses a very good adhesive and you can shape the badge to match the curve of the fender. I have attached the best picture I have of it right now, but it's not a good pic. Hope this helps.
I ended up going with the kuryakyn one because my dealership couldn't help me out either. Seems as if it's not listed in the book specifically for my bike then they are not much help.
Your my new hero. Now lets see if the dealer can do anything with that pic. Another local fixed the problem by putting bullet casings in the holes. Yiheeee Hawww.
I have a Harley-Davidson emblem on my Rocker-C. I found it by doing a search on eBay. You need one that is at least 4.5" x 3". Check this link. I do not believe that they are available anymore through Harley-Davidson.

Mine is the same emblem as DragonSlayer08's if you can't tell by my picture posted earlier. Just ask for an adhesive backed emblem at the parts desk and see what they have.
I know exactly the part youre referring to. Its on page 680 of the 2011 HD parts catalog. It comes as a piece in the Side Mount License Plate Kit mentioned on that same page. It is available as a separate part purchase from the MOCO as I bought only the medallion for my sister as a Christmas gift.
If you end up needing the part number for the medallion itself, PM me and I'll get it from the dealer I ordered it from. It was about $18.00.
BTW, the medallion fastens to the fender with 3 tabs that protrude through the 3 holes in the fender and use 3 push on style metal fasteners. It is not adhesive.
