A few days ago I installed som Carlini evil apes on my 2011 crossbones. The tank was almost empty and I undid the front gas hookup so I could lift my tank up to get to the wires easier. Once the bars were installed I put everything back the way they were, or so I think. Once I tried to start the bike it took me over 40 tries to get it to stay at idle. Even when at idle it sounded bad. So I figured I needed to get more gas, maybe it was running on fumes, so I thought. I got more gas in it, it now idles O.K. but if I give any gas it almost stalls/ and or blows a flame out the intake.

I must have done something wrong, maybe it is an easy thing I am missing. but does antyone have anything I could try?

what was it? share it with everyone else just in case it happens to someone....

 

Bet it was the throttle idle cable out of adjustment.
