Default Part Identification

Washing my FXSTC I discovered this behind the air cleaner. Never noticed it before. It looks like it was attached with adhesive tape. It doesnt appear to plug into anything,,,,

Any idea what this is?

I do believe it is a connector for non USA models where they have active emmisions equipment.

It gets used in Europe and Austrailia that I know of.

On mine the barbed plastic thing plugs into a hole in the back of the stock air cleaner backplate.

Active intake solenoid connector. You don't need to worry about it. I have mine zip-tied up behind the A/C.

That would explain it. My backplate is off, so nowhere to plug the barb.
