It's taken about two months to accumulate all the parts and transplant them onto my XBones to make it the way I want it. Not the way most folks have gone but I really like the look now. Exactly what I wanted. Still have one turn signal relocation to finish and need to clean up the wires in the front but after all the work I've done in the heat of the summer figured it was time to post some pics.
This is the furthest I've taken a Harley apart. Work consisted of a new back tire, new V&H Softail Duals, chrome engine covers including top transmission cover and lifter covers, chrome headlight and horn cover and new narrow beach bars. Bike even fired right up when I was done with no leaks and no extra parts.
Looks great and i love the color! I'm thinking of ordering an unused set of blue tins like yours in case I wanted to swap mine out. The fact you said your bike is set up in a way most people wouldn't, makes it that much more appealing.
I think it one of the best looking Bones I have seen. You done good. It just looks like it is ready to go anywhere for any reason. I like that in a bike.
