Did not notice any mention of 30 amp breaker tripping in FP. There are wire single use fueses and relays. Have to check back in my electrical service manual what I think you are talking about. The starter draws 150-200 amp and is wired straight to the battery. The solenoid goes through a start relay that takes the load off the small micro switch up on the bars and I have heard sometimes this goes bad but its hard to describe how to jump around it on line so you can check if its that or the starter. How many miles on bike?
Appreciate you getting back and look forward to hearing what they find out.

Checked my electrical diagram and they do refer the + power coming from the battery going to the starter/solenoid. Pigtails back to the 30A circuit breaker that then goes to the ignition switch and then fused down to the 15A Battery fuse leading to the ecm and tsm (signal light switch) The wire to the other side of the solenoid comes through the start relay which pulls in when you hit the start switch. The start relay is powered by the 30A breaker. When the start relay is in it completes the ground circuit side to the solenoid. When this happens of course the solenoid jumps forward bringing the large silver plated washer completing the starter motor circuit. It also depending on the year of bike throws out the starter gear. I am referring to my 04. Also not quite sure were this 30A breaker is.
