Thanks Bender. Almost 16 yrs in the Army as a mechanic. 14 of those have been in Special Ops. Its all I know and love every minute of it! I will take anyone up on a beer. Don't think I've ever turned one of those down.

I've been on my '05 Train for a couple of weeks now. All the way down sounds like a mosquito in my ear or someone saying the letter ZZZZZ. I can't find the source yet. still looking (Thoughts? Belt on the primary???) . Anyway, up about an eighth of an inch and all is good. Real fun!

Looking good Sofmech. Shotgun is my next mod on the list. Yours makes me want to do it that much faster.
Thanks for your service. One of my best friends was marine recon. 2 drunkest nights of my life was the night before he left and the night he got back. Now he's just chubby, hahaha!!!!
There's a beer waiting for you down here in so cal too.

My wrench prewarned me about my belt deflection or something (shhhh wasn't really listening, cause I have Shotgun Shocks). He cautioned me from riding completley slammed...

Riding in SOCAL would be great. Heading down there mid August without the bike though. Milty, I don't listen to too many others than myself. The experiance and advice on this forum is worth more than a wrench looking for a paycheck.

taildragger, try looking at where the top of the belt enters the primary, when i set my 03 train all the way down the belt will rub the primary. and the whine your hearing may be belt tension, when you lower the bike it essentially loosens the belt
