Default harley speaker help

In the middle of helping a friend install harleys windshield speakers and amplifier kit on thier heritage. It is kit number 76321-09. We have hooked it all up per the instruction, but the 3.5 mm male plug that comes out of the speakers them selves does not have a home. We have power to the switch on the handlebar switches but have no sound out the speakers at all.

A little help, please.

TIA,
James

That plug will connect to your audio device. Like an iPod or iPhone.

Why would you want speakers on your bike? It already makes a perfect sound.

The main harness has a 3.5 female plug. Plug it into that and use the extra 3.5 wiire that came with it from the jack on the speaker to the audio source. Then enjoy your tunes.

This is my bike and the system is still not working. I finally took it to the dealership and asked them to verify if the wiring was wrong or if I had a defective unit. They said it was a defective amp. If they installed the new amp they would charge me $100.00. Since you assume they verified the wiring was good, I took my bike back. My husband wired in the new amp and guess what!! Same problem. I went through the insturctions with him and the wiring looks right and would assume the dealership tested it. My husband called the service manager to asked if they tested the system on the bike and they said NO!!! They tested it off the bike. So Help, any suggestions from anyone who has installed this themselves! I leave on a road trip in a week and want it to work!!!!!
