Fuel Moto - Thanks
I'm an old carb guy that got lucky last year and found a 2003 FLSTC (1300 miles) looking for a home. I was a little concerned because this was my first EFI bike. The original owner had old style SE pipes with a Stage-1 a/c and it ran like crap. Loud, Slow, Pinged, Popped and scared the dog. It took a New England winter to convert it into something decent with the finishing touch being a Power Commander 3 USB - Dynojet from you guys. Oh yeah, you're not perfect, the original map was nothing to write home about but the map Keith sent last week was fan-frekin-tastic. I gave him the details about my air intake and exhaust (stock cam) and he took it from there. I loaded the map, reset the zero throttle zero point while I was there and went for a ride.
No deceleration pop or ping, just a nice low rumble. Great throttle response throughout the entire rpm range. It pulls like a Detroit Diesel and revs more than I need.
Now, I know some of the brothers out there are going the $hit all over me for this but I have to say I'm a convert, EFI is better than a carburetor.
