does anyone know what it takes to either put 6" risers or a whole new set of bars on my fatboy lo. I am trying to avoid getting new cables and paying over $700 to get them installed...any advice would be awesome!!!!
I added the black fat riser kit (part No. 56931-10) to my 2010 Fatboy Lo without having to rewire or change cables. These added about 5 1/2" in height. I would guess, though, that any change in handlebars or higher risers, would require at least adding length to the internal wiring and maybe throttle and clutch cables as well.
thanks for the info...unfortunately height isn't my issue. I'm a short guy at like 5'5" maybe 5'6 with boots on...i need to get the handlebars closer to me. I found that HD has a set of super reduced reach handlebars but I don't want to switch over if I have to change out every cable and all the wiring...gonna cost way too much money...
the first line in my reply was thanks for the info...and rise and pullback are not the same thing. I don't need to get my bars higher...i need them closer to me...less height more pullback....but thanks for weighing in.

you may consider the bars off the 2012 Lo...
they are changed this year and have more rise & pull back.
I too want to have more pull back and may go this route...if they work for me, I'm gonna have them PC black.
otherwise...I'll go aftermarket.
btw, changing cables & extending wires is no big deal.
I am 5' 3" and went with the reduced reach seat and 4" pullback risers. Just got back from 3,300 mile ride and thought everything was just right. 2010 fatboy low
