Same here as drew... 4yrs and 33k and I've never had one single issue with gas overflowing.. and yes I fill it up every time I gas up.

Gas caps,oil drips, bad trans, bad motors, front ends falling off, bad brakes,screaming recall every other thread. Makes me wonder what in hell you guys are doing to your bikes.

I have a 2010 Heritage. On a recent trip out west gas began to pour out around the cap after each fill. No problem with the vent and I was careful not to overfill. Didn't help. Took it to the dealer when I got home and they replaced the gas cap. Problem solved. No mention made of pushing down on the cap to make sure it was fully seated, but it makes sense and I'll be doing that after each fill.
