Anyone, I recently purchased H-D passenger floor boards for my 2006 softail deluxe. I have the V&H big radius 2-into-2 exhaust. The floorboard kit came with the brackets that are suppose to help fit it around the exhaust, however the mounting bracket it came with does not fit correctly. It states to fit the right floorboard bracket onto muffler support bracket, however with the Big Radius Exhaust, there is no muffler support bracket. does anyone know how I can install the floorboards. Is there any kind of special bracket i can purchase to install the floorboards? any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated, thank you.
I just ordered the mounting hardware for the left side and put that on the right side. Only problem is that the floorboard now is at a slight angle with the front a bit lower than the back.
I have the right mount (50481-00) on order now from kit 50602-00A, 52715-04A (one is black and other is chrome) which should sort that out.
You can download the install pdf files from the HD website, they show the individual part numbers, so no need to order complete sets.
Hey there, the kit i ordered was 50377 - 07A, crested B&S footboard kit. when i put the left mounting bracket on the right side, the mounting bracket cut out was to small for the Swingarm pivot bolt on the right side, it fit the left side no problem. some one told me to just order another one of the those, but that wouldn't work either. Thanks for any help, wouldnt be to bad if i was close to a dealer, but closest one is 100 miles away, so going back saturday, would like to have this straightened out and know what i need before i get there. thanks.
Once you move away from the Stock Exhaust, you may have to go with the Kit that fits the FLSTC instead of the Deluxe.

Does the right side bracket look like the one I highlighted or the bottom one?
The highlighted one is for stock Deluxe only. If that's what you have you need to get the Heritage right side bracket or kit. It will look like the bottom bracket in the pic ( or the same as the the left one)

Just wondering if i purchased the mounting kit 50459-06, comes with the right and left side, even thought it states doesn't fit the FSTN model, i have the FSTNI, but just wondering if the left side will still be the same from this kit as the kit i already have (50377 - 07A) the only difference would be the right side, but due to me exhaust will work? hope this will work, by doing this and just buying my footboards, will be cheaper in the long run. Also, would you know if i but this kit, if i bought the universal passenger footboards for the softail models, would they match up to the brackets from the mounting kit. may do this if they have the brackets in stock so dont have to waite for delivery, thanks
