Lady friend is 5'1" tall. Owned sportsters more than 14 years. Got a Deuce without ever sitting on one much less riding one. She has dropped it often, crashed it 3 times in 2 years. She must ride it right on the back of the tank and even then barely touches the forward controls!
I need to show her some relo kit or alternate controls. It is very unsafe as is and she will not change bikes.
Must be a real bitch to work the foot brake. Never seen any type of shortened controls . BUT, there must be a way to modify the stock ones..
She is living dangerously with the present set up.
Cut and welding of some type. May not look good if done, but what ever works. A Dyna may have been the better bike for her.
i am short to like 25" inseem short lol. when I had my deuce I lowered it a inch or so, got a corbin seat that pushed be foward and down. but the kicker is I had a machinist friend make me a billet spacer bock for the brake. it went under the rubber pad. worked like a champ and no one ever noticed it was there
