Fork Cap?
Does anyone know what the thread size is for the upper fork caps on
a 03 41mm Softail front end. This is for my buddies springer project.
He will be using 41mm trees to build a springer front end for a big
azz trike he is building. He plans on using Wide Glide shocks for the
springs. He is replacing the fork tubes with solid stock
so I have to machine the top of the stock to fit into the upper clamp
and he wants to use the chrome caps. I have to bore and thread the inside
of the stock so that the caps will screw into them. This should be and
interesting project for him. A pic of the caps.
