wow, its all I can say after getting my new tires on yesterday (along with a new chrome rear wheel) I had the pirelli night dragon put on the front and a metz 880 for the rear. It handled like brand new. Also turns out the wobble on the front was a out of balance wheel.
New tires and a quality tire always make a huge difference. It seems a lot of people assume that stock tires are "fine" and that's all they need to know. As I have said numerous times before, get a good quality tire and you will feel a huge difference. I'd rather spends $500 a year on tires and and have a much better ride than spending half of that for a mediocre ride.
Metzeler, Avon, Pirelli, etc all make great tires. It is not only the compound of the tire that makes a difference. A softer sticker tire rides like butter compared to a stock tire. It is also the shape of the tire and the handling achieved form a tires with a more rounded profile.
Don't take my word on it, find out for yourself. Stock tires and never the best tires for a bike. They are merely a tire that the manufacturer has a contract with.
