The most important one is.....behind where my rear cylinder bolts to the block on my FLSTF, the case comes together, there is a elongated oval. What is it, and why is it leaking oil?
Question #2........My dealer suggested a 150 rear tire, I went with it. I just noticed it is rubbing on the left side. Should they have shimmed it or something?
Seeping between the cases is not uncommon. More of a nuisance than a riding issue. The fix is not cheap and requires splitting the cases.
What is the rear tire rubbing on? Could be corrected with an adjustment of alignment...
They did not reverse the bolts, I stopped by the dealer after work today, and the re-aligned it. I did hit a MONSTER pothole a few days ago. And the cases would need split to fix my small leak. Thanks for your answers guys.
