Help!!! I have a 2010 fatboy. When I turn the ignition off all of the lights on the dash, headlight, and signals flash twice, stop, and repeat. They continue to do so until battery is disconnected
Mine does it, its the security system, on mine it happens if I try to move it after I've turned it off, i think its to warn people that its alarmed.
Just walk away from it.
Shouldn't be battery in the fob, only yr old, depending on when U bought her.. if its closer to two then replace it.
Is it still under warranty?.. if so have dealer check her out.
Have U read U owners manual? if so what did it say.
Mine blinks twice after shutting off. If I move it without the fob being near its blinks till I go in the house and get it, then get within 5ft or so of the bike and then it quits..
Haven't really tried to see how long it would keep blinking if I didn't get the fob. But it will blink couple mins at least, the time it takes to get the fob.
Sounds to me like you will be making a trip to the dealer service dept. in your near future. Most likely an electrical problem with security system. Have you added a powercommander or run/stop/turn module?
Do you have your 2nd fob or replacement battery? You could use that to rule out the communication from the sec system to the fob. Otherwise, you may have some wiring issue that the dealer can resolve.
BTW...not to get off topic. But I have a cousin in Seattle with a 2010 Fat Boy and a WSU alumn..... are you him???
