1991 Softail build {Help!}
Hello,
I am currently building a 1991 softail and am needing some help on the wiring.
I haven't been able to locate an OEM service manual so have been using my 2002 Deuce for an example but there are may differences as to be expected.. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...eat=directlink
here is an image of the area in question..
I am wiring the bike at this time and have an OEM harness that came with the engine trans combo I purchased from Pinwall cycle salvage. My questions for now are what is the black molded box mounted under the speedo dash mount which has the wire plug going to the top? I am guessing it has to do with the signals and lighting?
Also the three plugs that mount under the upper tube, which has one plug going to the dash the center I have no plug for {handle bar wiring?} and the front which has the female plug which as been cut may be head lamp and signals?
Could anyone give me some advice?
I am also needing to find the proper place for the ignition control module and starter relay I am guessing behind the oil bag and in front of the lower fender extension?
