Thinking about getting a swingarm bag for my Rocker. Had saddle bags on my old bike and miss the storage. Noticed that the softail swingarm bag from HD states that it does not work with the Rocker. Anyone know why? Also, are there any issues with rubbing the paint off the swingarm from a bag being strapped to it?
If you use the straps that come with any of the solo bags, the bag moves enough to cause wear on the paint.
Get either the Leatherworks or Garage Works solo bag.
Both of those bags are made right here in the USA.
$160 for the 3" LW and I think $220 for the GW bag.
Both LW and GW have options to change the look if you want other than a plain bag. http://www.sideroadcycles.com/index.html and let them know you are a forum member for a discount.
You can also PM Drew and see if DR. V-TWIN is a better price.
Thanks. Getting closer to pulling the trigger on this and thinking of getting the LW bag. Does anyone know if a swingarm bag will fit with the license plate mounted off the rear axle?

Dragonslayer08 has a shot of a lw bag with a roto plate on the axle or very close to the axle
