got my bike back.
I posted a few weeks ago that the MoCo was having primer problems and I wouldn't get my tank till late september. Well, I picked it up today. Finished ! The dealer called and said the tank came in and it is done. I questioned the primer situation and he couldn't answer me. Said the MoCo doesn't explain to him they just send parts. I'm not real pleased with the customer service communication but, glad to have my fatboy back.
As when you order a custom wheel from them you go in thinking that much money, surely the are going to pop me out one but it does not work that way. They wait for high dollar customs and paint to acquire a few orders, then they do it. Bet they were waiting for either your color line or enough orders to justify a run. Doing one tank would cost them as much as a whole days run, so after yours the rest were pure profit for the big guy.
i havent been to a dealers service department that had good communication yet, kinda irritating when you have to wait and have no clue on the status of your bike.
