After seeing a bunch of bikes in Laconia with a fairing, I got the itch for one. Never thought I would, and not too sure I like it, or that it fits the look I was going for.
I only rode about a mile (bad weather) but to be honest I didn't notice much of a difference in wind protection. Oh well its on and I can always take it off or try and sell it if I don't end up liking it.

Hmmm...looks kinda naked w/o a set of hard bags on there.
Agree it looks a little out of place without bags. I added on to my fatboy and only use it for long runs. I notice more protection in cold and in rain with it on. The tunes are also nice. But that is the great thing about them is you can take them off when you do not need them.
