there's been like 2-3 threads on this already, and the basic responses were something like this..

1) If you're doing it for the 103", just buy the 103" kit. Or buy a 107" kit from Fuel Moto and save money, or a 106" kit from S&S and save even more money. Or just put cams and get some headwork done to ignite the potential of the 96"

2) You're looking to lose anywhere from $3,000-$5,000 on the trade, plus all the stuff you've already put in to your bike to begin with.

If i can find the threads which were already started on this topic i'll edit this and relink them.. but i'm not being a douche, that was just the basic consensus of responses from said threads

there's another, but i can't find it

+1 on this. All you'll get out of it is the 103" and the ABS and you'll lose a lot of money doing it. I'd just upgrade your engine and not worry about the ABS for a while.

I can give you an idea, my wife just bought a brand new 2011 FB (not FB Low) at $13700 top line plus fees, so your 2010 has to be at least $2k-3k below that in trade in value - then whatever price you can get on a 12 FB for a deal would be your difference out of pocket

A new paint job might cost you $1500-$2500.

YUP YUP YUP

I have a 10 Fatboy and while I like the 103" it isnt worth the $$$ to jump on my 10. Incidentally I didnt think the 103" gave all that much of a difference to warrant the change. Id rather work my motor a bit to wake her up. Just my $0.02

A standard simple two tone paint figure on about $1750-$2250. If you get into art and custom work figure $2500 and up. Depending how radical you get will determine the cost. Your imagination and wallet are the only limitations.

I just did a full custom paint job on my bike. Pairadice Paint in Finley PA. Rob Farnsworth did a friggin sick job, he and his crew nailed it and hit it out of the park for me. I have no problem at all HIGHLY recommending them
