Spoke with I think Jake at Heartland a couple weeks ago and on the site the 250 swing arm is $559.00 wanted one at that price but he said "oh no that swing arm is 859.00 raw + 150.00 to chrome or Powder coat...WTF update your site!!!!
My price list says $559 for chrome upgrade and $150 for black. I assume this si on top of teh price of the swin garm. I'm sending an email to find out guys.
Dr. V-twin thanks for quick reply...that makes sense, but you need to be a rocket scientist to figure out Heartlands site. A simple price sheet page would take out all the shock when you call them to purchase something and they give you a much larger amount than expected. I'm a big believer in paying for quality, and this will be the kit I get...someday.
I am aware of this. I have been combing it for years and still have so many questions about stuff that I talk to them nearly every day. Simplicity is best in my opinion as well. I am of the opinion that a well thought out and executed website is extremely valuable as it can save any business countless hours on the phone and will make up for a lot of lost business as when i come across a site that makes no sense i assume the people have no idea about their own products. In their case this is far from true (they are extremely well educated on their products) however a full site overhaul is definitely needed.
When I research products the last thing i want to do is take the time to call and speak with someone. I am a busy individual and don't usually have the time for that. Click, read, buy is how I operate.
I want to expound on what I just said above. the site is very well laid out, there is a ton of information that I would want to know that is unavailable. I alos liek the design of it as it is simple and does not have music (a waste) and other advertising, but if I'm dropping $3699 I need all the info in one place without having to email or call.
The Swingarm is $899. The reason it is so expensive for chroming is due to the labor intensive chroming and polishing process. It is extremely time consuming.
Don't forget guys, Dr. V-Twin is your number one forums dealer of Heartland products. Drop me a line if you need pricing on anything.
PM or email at DREW@DRVTWIN.COM or you can always call us at the shop! We work very closely with Heartland and know them personally.
