Fuelpak frustration
What they mean is the FP just changes the A/F ratio to a certain setting for the Set up U tell it too..
It won't do anything else like a really good F/M will do.

+1 on this. I went from the settings that came into the box to the new ones on the website and I could immediately tell it difference. Just in the sound alone, it doesn't sound bogged down with fuel when it's warming up
Could you explain what you mean by "I had originally bought the FP but got rid of it once the dyno guy told me that it was doing nothing for my motor."
I was under the assumption that V&H Works closely with Harley. I saw their stuff displayed on Harleys in the Harley booth of the NYC Bike Show this year. I have also heard they had something to do with some SE pipes.
(And yes, I know how the assume line goes! lol)
I had the V&H FuelPak on my 2010 Lo but I never had it dynoed. I was planning on putting it on my 2012 Lo when V&H came up with the new values on their website.
Could you educate me on these assumptions and give me some guidence on which type of fuel management to use on my new bike and why?
(By the way, I don't really care about it being a street legal fuel management system since my state decided last year to not require motorcycles to get a state inspection anymore. So I guess I would want the one with the best performance)
Thanks

I have the fuelpak and i like it a lot. It is less "tuneable" than a power commander, but still works fine. If i were to do engine work, I would need to upgrade to a more tunable solution like the power commander, but for a stock engine with vance and hines pipes, the fuel pak is good.
I added xied's last year in conjunction with the fuel pak and it runs great.
