There are several versions. I think the Springer version looks the best as they have a different shape than the regular softail version. I got the regular softail version for my bike and decided not to use them as i disliked the shape.
I have them on Heritage Classic. They rock. Dropped bike once at spotlight and had no damage/scrapes or any thing else bad. But, must keep bags on or they look weird.
