On the right side of the oil tank there is a metal oil feed line. It looks as if the factory thought the best way to join a metal line with a metal tank would not be by welding but buy using a generous amount of silly putty or perhaps chewing gum. It didnt work out...Mine has started weeping oil.
My lines attach to my oil tank using snap in pressure couplings, similar to those used on automobile a/c fittings. A picture would be helpful to determine what you have going on...
It is leaking at the connection of the oil feed line on the bottomof the tank, right side. (see yellow circle) After looking at other pic on the internet I am thinking the previous abuser of my bike used some kind of epoxy putty to fix a cracked oil line.

Replace that line asafp.
Oil pressure is something you do NOT want to risk losing on these bikes.
It's a very long story ....but yes, I bought it used. The guy who owned it before me did this to the bike along with many other disrespectful things.
The pipe just weeps a bit of oil right now and is otherwise secure. The rain will start here soon so i think I will tear it down this winter and fix it proper.
