Not too bad. I like the lower seating position. Thanks for all the positive feedback, however I guess its just not the look I thought I would get. Now thinking of going the opposite direction, keeping the OEM solo and maybe some kind of fender bib. We'll see. Anyone interested in buying the seat in the photo? I'll make you a sweet deal.

What does your butt tell you? I mean your gut. No.....your butt. How does it feel after about an hour in the saddle? That's where it really counts. Although, it does look pretty good too.

You're the one that's got to be happy...

But an observation for whatever it's worth:

The rear part of your new seat is tapered quite a bit and flows nicely onto the rear fender.I much prefer that over the look of the OEM solo.... My Nightrain's Badlander seat sort of has the same effect and I like the look of it.If the Badlander wasn't comfortable,I'd have someone modify it or find something else that looked just like it.

Sometimes the initial feelings over a change like that are confusing, you've got nothing to lose by riding it a while and seeing if it grows on you.In any case, best wishes and safe riding.

I was just about to post when I saw that you put it on Ebay with this quote
The Deluxe is too retro for this seat.
Couldn't agree more and I'm glad you saw it yourself.

OK, I have the seat I like now. Mustang Solo with the matching fender bib. I think it really fits the bike.

So who knows how I can get rid of those big nuts that were used to mount the OEM seat? The bib has the holes there to match and thats what holds the front of the bib in place. The problem is the bracket that is under the fender sticks up through. Those are not threaded holes in the fender like the other ones.
