I am trying to make a decision on a air cleaner to go with Big Shot Staggered and PCIII. My choices are the SE stage 1, K&N and the Arlen Ness Big Sucker. Does anyone have a opinion on these three AC's.
The Arlen Ness Big Sucker is my choice.
I think its the best after market intake and the filter can be cleaned and re oiled like a KN filter.
You can also slap a kn in later if you choose.
The price is also best.
I just installed the K&N RK 3909 on my Heritage. It would have been an easy install if I didn't have to go back and redo a couple of steps. I guess that I'm not good at following instructions. I agree with rhubarb that the rubber veloicty stack is a POS. I think if I had it to do over again I would go with the S/E A/C.
I've got a big sucker. It was easy to install and out of the three you listed I think it's the best bang for the buck. I got my big sucker with my Power Commander for $425.00 from a local shop. There are some nicer looking ac's out there from Zippers and Doherty Machine but I couldn't tell ya if they are really that much better for double the cost of the big sucker.
