Available in the pic below. No ground clearance problems on mine.
Semper Fi Marine!
Thanks everybody for your replies. FatBoyVeteran you said that you don't have any ground clearance issues. I was just wondering if you scrape your boards much. I don't mean any offense I'm just wondering if the pipes are high enough that you can be warned by your boards scraping before the pipe gets close. I don't mind scraping up my boards but I want to avoid messing up the pipe if I can.

Yes, I have scraped the boards. I don't scrape them much...it happens on occasion. I use it as the warning that I am about to *** up my pipes.
With that 200 rear tire, and the lean limits of the bike, its almost made to ride more straight up than at an angle. If your concerned with scraping, get the lowcat. I personally don't like the look of the lowcat, but everyone has their own taste.
D&D also has the Bobcat for the softail. I'm thinking about it, but want to hear it first. E-mailed D&D and they said the lowcat muffler will also fit on the Bob Headpipe.
I have the Patriot Defenders being installed on my 2011 FatBoy Lo tomorrow. http://www.patriotpipes.com/
What I like about them is they have a butterfly valve in the pipe that can be opened or closed to get the sound you like. The way it is designed, it's to be set and left that way.
I'm going to attach it to a choke cable so it can be opened and closed on the fly. Whan leaving the house ( closed ) on the highway ( open )
Good Luck with you choice. They are all nice pipes just need to find what you like.
I really like my lowcat. To me, it is pretty loud but they are also bolted to a 107" I'm sure that turns the volume up a bit.
I had the v&h br 2-1 on my fatbob it was quieter and had a cool hot rod note to it really liked those pipes just wanted something different for my lo.

A question about the Low Cat. I looked on D&D's website and it specifically says that the Fat Cat comes with heatshields and baffles. Does anyone know if the Low Cat comes complete as well or will I have to purchase those items seperately. Also a question for Dr V-twin. What intake and tuner would you recommend with the low cat? I want to keep my factory intake cover and as far as a tuner I've been looking at either the TTS Mastertune or Powervision.
Thanks everybody for all the replies.
The lowcat comes with heat shields and baffles and every thing as well. All D&D pipes do. As far as a/c and tuner, IF youa re keepingteh stock cover get a Ness Big Sucker or a Screaming Eagle a/c ( I prefer the Ness due to finish options available) and for the tuner, I like both of those options.
There are differences. The TTS allows you to log data on a laptop while you ride and then build a map from the logged data, and the power vision allows you to store multiple maps (5 I think) and switch between them easily. I think you will get a better tune from a TTS, but you have to lug a laptop around with you to gather info. The pwoer vision lets you switch between the 5 maps you have loaded, but does not log data and build a map. 6 of one, half dozen of the other between these two.
A few other options are Revolution Performance EMS ( a true auto tuning tuner that tunes in real time) adn the Thundermax which also tunes as you ride.
