Default 2012 Blackline Tuning

I got my Ness Derby Sucker intake but now I don't know what fuel tuner to use. Im extremely impatient so i want to just get the Fuelpak. The problem is I'm eyeing an exhaust that is a straight header with no 02 sensor bungs. I went to FuelMoto and nothing seems to fit the 2012 with the 103". I have also searched on here and found nothing. So, what are my options?

I don't think your going to find very many options for a 2012 yet. Not sure but is Harley selling a SERT for them yet?

The SERT works great for the 2011, should be fine for 2012.
If you are tuning yourself, then you need the O2 sensors. Don't get pipes without them.

Otherwise, your tuner will have a preference for a tuner and will create an open loop map for you based on your current equipment.

The good thing about doing it yourself, is that you don't need to pay for a new dyno run when you upgrade something in your engine.

But a pro can produce a map within a few hours, whereas you'll have to go riding several times in order to gather enough data when you are doing it yourself.

Thumbs up

Call Vance & Hines at 562-921-0071. The new LCD model is for 2011 and up... It doesn't use the O2 sensor. Ask for Javi and he'll fix you right up!

Me too. I read so many threads about not needing more power yada yada yada. Its simply amazing compared to my old 88. There is no comparing the bikes at all.

"NOT" Everyone, There's thousands of SERT and SEPST users who are totally pleased with them.
Son I have have had SE tuners on our last 4 new bikes in the last 5yrs and once we figured out what pipes, cams and A/C we wanted we had all the work done at once, then dynoed either when they were new or at the 1K service.
We have not had One issue with any of the tuners at any time and are sold on them.

If either of us got another new bike today it'd be fitted with the SE tuner as soon as we figured out what pipes and cams we'd put in with it.

We'd just rather ride without fiddling around with the tuning all the time.

So the SERT keeps the O2 sensors right? The pipes i'm looking at don't have the bungs and frankly I don't care to use them...UNLESS there is a significant disadvantage in doing so.
