Under the seat behind the fuse box I have a loose black box with wires running to it from the rear tail light connector and another set of wires.
This box is being crushed by the seat and I'm just wondering where it should go. I have the HD Manual and none of the pictures show that anything should be in the area behind the fuse box. Just bought the bike and was checking things out when I found this.
You can put it right where the wiring comes through the fender and that way it takes up no space. Never had an issue with mine under the seat, however I do not have a stock seat either.
I have a saddleman seat and have to be careful as to where it is laying. I had it behind the fuse box and it got smashed up a little, the reason for the tape around it in the previous picture
