I'm asking anyone who has installed the Signal Dynamics Back Off XP model on thier bikes which wire to connect it to. I've planned on hooking into the wire harness going into the rear fender but wanted to know which color wire is the right one. Can anyone tell me what color wire is the "brake light" wire? Sorry, I don't have the service manual to look this up myself, and the Harley dealers are pretty stingy with information.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Reason: Wrong name on part
Thank you Lowcountry Joe but those same type of instructions came with the module. I did not buy the "wig wag" module that you posted the link too. The "whip" I'm refering to is the group of wires that run under the rear fender to the brake and signal lights. They connect to the main harness near the battery.
My question; has anyone hooked up this module and if so what colored wire is the brake wire that I have to splice into?

In a pinch I would try this: Pull the plastic tail light off and look at what colored wire is going into the bulb assembly. That should match up with the same wire in your "whip" shouldn't it?
Hell, I don't know.
Beav-I agree with you completly I need the service manual, but as you stated the wire diagram may not be in it. I went to a dealership and they wouldn't break the plastic for me to even look inside one. Can't say I blame them but I would have bought it if it had what I needed. Chicken or the egg proverb. I am hoping that at least someone here has either installed one or has a sevice manual to look it up.
3/4 life crisis-simple and to the point, I thank you.
