Default Swingarm Axle Covers
Gents- does anyone know if Swingarm Axle Cover #41575-08, or something very similar, comes in a gloss black? Looking for something other than black nut covers for 2011 FBLO.

Most of those covers are chrome coated plastic.........rough up the surface and paint them.

Just like mentioned above, just rough up the chrome and paint. But, I don't recall ever buying any that were plastic. All of the ones on my bike are chromed cast metal or chromed billet aluminum.

Harley sells black ones and they aren't plastic. I have the chrome ones like this.

Thanks Brenn. I saw that one and I'm starting to think it might be the only option. Hard to believe there is only one axle cover out there in back for a newer softail...when there's about a billion other accessories.

Im in the same boat.
I have an 07 FXST and those are my only choice in black as well.

I bought the chrome one's that say harley davidson in script from a forum member and powdercoated them, just another option

Angry axle covers
i have the fatboy lo with the rush on slip on i put the axle bolt cover on when i ride the bolt cover is all strach up it must hit the muffles, i painted the bolt cover again went for a ride the same thing now i leave off. i heard this happen to a few people here.
