*Cable length for 12" apes on a Rock help please*

Hi

I'm in the process of fitting some 12" apes to my rocker and need to know what size cables to use.

I know a few guys have gone for 12's on their rides and am hoping you will chime in with what size

From my novice calculations I'm guessing +4" and am about to pull the trigger on the following cables....

Are you going for the forward position or following the lines of the fork?
The stock cable length almost fit on my 13.5 inch tall BR bars with 1.5 inch Carlini risers.
I let Bill guess on the cable lengths after giving him the stock cable measurements.
He sent 4" over and a 6" over clutch cable. The 4" would have worked and looked cleaner than the 6".

I appreciate the help gentlemen

I probably should have mentioned that they are going on 1" risers and I want the bars sitting at 12 o'clock... I hope I can reach them

I want them set up like my train, but it appears that it will be a bit more of a stretch on the rocker

Hey bro, I got the 12 inch narrow apes from Khrome Werks and 2 inch harley risers from a heritage. If this is your setup, lemme know and I will give you the sizes. However, Micahpop has the same setup and he told me that he probably could have used the stock setup instead of going longer. I haven't changed mine yet because I am waiting for winter to take the bike down.

The more I look at it the more I think the standard cables will work??

I'll probably change them anyway just for the sake of having braided cables but would be nice to save some coin if I don't need to
