My bike is currently in for the 1,000 mile service. Will be calling them first thing in the morning and will let you know what they say.

Says my bike needs it. I'd like to hear from somebody who has had it done. My bike runs great and i don't want anybody touching it if it's not necessary.
Agreed I have 2800 miles on mine and it runs great. I think I will wait until someone else goes through it.

I wonder how this affects my bike with the SERT kit. The bulletin talks about remapping the ECM which is what the SERT does. I'll post the answer when I get it.

That's what I want to know. It's going to be 60 here today so I am going to take a ride to my dealer and see what they have to say.

From what I have read it, If you have the SERT and have it tuned properly you would not have to lose any sleep over it! my.02 I could be wrong though!

This is the first I have heard of it I had my 1000mi checkup about three weeks ago, and no one mentioned anything to me about it. Bike runs, rides fine as far as I can tell.
But I'm no Harley expert, and this is my first, so I'm not a great source for knowing if anything was screwed up.
Ditto on what Citoriplus said.

Just got back from the dealer, The modification only took about 15 min. including test ride. They did ask me if I had modifications, mine is still stock so there were no issues. I felt the change right away.
