You'll get there. I have wanted these for about 3 years now and finally got them and put them on. You might as well do new heads at the same time like I did.
LOL.
Drew
Hey Drew. How do you like the performance of the new heads. Is it that noticeable? Worth it? I'm thinking this will be my winter mod. Well, as much of a winter as we have here anyway. Since I have the 95 in it like you, I'm interested in how much you like the new kick.
Jason.

The stock heads off the 96" twin cam provide more a punch than I expected. I really do notice it. And for a few hudnred bucks on ebay and a couple hours of my time it was well worth it. If i want serious performance out of my motor i will redo the crank, get it welded and trued, all that crap next time around with the mileage I have. 68K and counting. Maybe by then there will be a 120R I can use with a stock 5 speed. Who knows.
going to put on my mini apes and relocate the frt signals down to the fork tubes.. i could have done it this summer, but i didn't want to end up getting stuck on something and loose a few days or shudder to think a week of riding time... i don't want to much time down, i still ride in the winter as much as possible..
Cut a new diamond plate mount for my LW solo bag.
That way I can mount the Alloy Arts flush passenger pegs that are gathering dust.
I'll switch out the swing arm mount to a axle mount for my Roto-Plate.
Finally install my RICOR Intiminators.
Dremel the FXCW struts to fit over the Danny Gray seat mounts.
(great deal on ebay for a chromed set)
I need to get the right side cone axle spacer milled down to fit under the shoulder on the hub of the Heartland Replica Rocker wheel.
The stock spacers look like butt.
New rear BHC fender
New front fender
Shotgun Shock
Little more chrome
New paint and pin stripping
C&C seat custom to match the new paint lines
And if I have money left over white wall tires
