It ran right at me and hit my engine guard. It could have been really bad. I stood next to it, while it died. The police came, and it was no big deal.
The engine guard was loose, and when I got home, I saw the top mount was bent. Hammered it down, tightened some screws and now it's beautiful again.
Just wanted to tell someone and didn't feel Facebook was appropriate.

Man, you're so lucky to have survived that. Every time I ride back up the mountain at night I'm watching as good as possible for them. The thought of slamming a big buck scares the hell out of me.
