I was talking to my Indy mechanics a couple weeks ago and they told me a couple DNA horror stories. Some of the wheels are good and some have major problems. They recommended spending a bit more and going with someone like Sinister. Just food for thought. SJ Ron

I heard all the horror stories about DNA as well, but most of the ones that I heard about were from a couple of years ago. I bought mine towards the end of last year (Aug roughly) and I've had zero issues with them. I thought for sure I would have to make some shims for the rear wheel, but it bolted right up. I'm also not running any tubes and would recommend DNA. Just me though. I did do a lot or research and found pro's and con's about all wheel companies.

Hi Guys.

I want to mount a 21" also on my 2008 Deluxe leaving the 16" in the rear.
Do I need to lower the front end too?
How much?
Thank you very much.

Everyone seems to have a different opinion about this. I don't think it's "necessary" to lower the front, but some think it looks better that way, or that it's important to return the bike to a stock position. I just got a 21x3.5 DNA Fatty 40 spoke with a Metzeler whitewall for my '05 Road King and I don't plan to lower the front. If for whatever reason I feel like I need to after riding for a while, I'll go back and do it.

Here's the wheel...the whitewall on the Metzeler is a bit thinner than I expected, but I still think it looks great...especially that Fatty 40 spoke...glad someone came out with fewer fat spokes!

I have the Metzeler 21" WWW also -- don't be fooled by the "WWW", the whitewall is NARROW. Too narrow for my taste, but options are very limited unfortunately! Ron
