im looking to buy some grips from a fellow member but need to know if they will fit my bike without any mods. the grips are hd part #56869-06
and my bike is a 1994 flstn. my local hd dealer said he wasnt sure if they would fit cause the application says for 96 and newer.
any help would be great!
thanks
don't know the difference between grips, but I can tell ya I think they're almost all the same. My wife used to have a set of nostalgic grips on her 1979 shovelhead, and when she sold the shovel and got an 06 superglide the grips were the same.
on the grips there should be a spot for the throttle cable fitting and the return cable fitting
i believe there is a spot for both cables my concern was that these grips are held on by the switch housings so i thought maybe the 96 and newer housings were different.
