Default Praise for Grasshopper Ltd

I know others have written about their positive experience with the folks at Grasshopper Ltd and I just wanted to add my two cents. I recently ordered a backrest for my Softail Deluxe but mistakenly ordered the one for the Heritage which has a different bracket. After it arrived and I realized my mistake I called Lonnie at Grasshopper and he went out of his way to send me the right backrest. Again, it was my mistake not his. Sadly you don't see that kind of customer service very often these days. And by the way the backrest is great!

That's good to know I thought the Deluxe and Heritage used the same bracket. Can the backrest be installed without installing the passenger pad or does that leave the hardware exposed?

Yes, you can install it without the passenger pad; yes it will leave the hardware exposed. But that's how I run mine most of the time...
