Ever since I got my deluxe I have been looking to repaint with a vintage style paint scheme keeping with the spirit of the deluxe design. I was perusing the ridewright gallery since a set of fat 50's is my next big purchase. I found this heritage with the exact paint I have been searching for and I think the black fat 50's with chrome nipples look perfect on her.......what do you guys think ?
That's the million dollar dilemma! I had a hell of a time when I did paint on mine- ended up with black!
I did see the colors I want to use after my paint was done, saw it on a work truck.
I'll end up repainting next year.
Its really hard for me I need to actually see it and i have been looking for quite some time this color scheme with the black fat 50's against the wide white walls really grabbed my attention
Nothing reeks of non-vintage more than chrome rear fender strut covers.
unless it's fat black spokes . not saying they don't look great , even with the vintage paint scheme , but they sure don't look vintage , not that i'm old enough to know first hand
