Passenger grabrail for Softail Deluxe?

Default Passenger grabrail for Softail Deluxe?
I'm looking for a passenger grabrail for my '11 Softail Deluxe. The Harley site shows one that appears to fit (P/N 97031-09) but concerns me because it includes protective tape to put on the fender. This makes me think that the tape may eventually fail and the fender may get scratched. Anyone have any experience with this grabrail on a Deluxe (assuming it fits) or know of any alternatives?

I use the now obsolete one from the Heritage Springer on mine. You can find them on eBay for big $. Watch out for ill fitting fakes however.
